加減速やコーナリングにより、車両に姿勢変化や慣性力が発生したとき、オイルが偏ったり飛び上がります。
その様な状況下では、ノーマルのバッフルプレートは役目を果たさずエンジンの油膜切れの原因となります。
TOMEIバッフルプレートはあらゆる走行条件下で、吸引するオイルが途切れないようにするために考案したスポーツ走行用複合型バッフルプレートです。

■ コーナリング時のオイルトラブルを防止■ Keeps the oil from sloshing away from the oil pickup during hard cornering.

オイルの偏りはヒンジによる可動バッフルで防ぎ、底面と平行に入れたバッフルプレートでオイルの飛び上がりや姿勢変化による油面の傾斜を受け止めます。It allows the one way movement of oil and can keeping it where the oil pickup is at all times by preventing oil deviation with the use of swing plates on hinges.

Protects the engine under the strong G-force on track!

During hard acceleration, deceleration and cornering, the sudden change in inertial forces will cause the oil to jump and move around too much. When this happens, the oil can move away from the oil pickup, which then in turn cuts oil supply to the engine.
The TOMEI baffle plate is designed to prevent this problem from happening especially when the car is used for competition use.
