純正採用されているハイドロリックリフターはエンジンのメンテナンスフリー化を果たしますがエンジンを高出力化する時には高速回転の妨げになります。また、ハイドロリックリフターは全高を高くできないため、カムシャフトのベース円を小さくしたハイリフトカムを使う事ができません。
結果的にチューニング範囲と性能をハイドロリックバルブリフターによって制限されてしまうのです。
そこでTOMEIバルブリフターはハイリフトカム用に専用設計することで、10.35mmまでのバルブリフトに対応するリフターとしました。
The hydraulic lifters used as standard equipment enable maintenance-free operation of the engine, but they can hinder high-speed rotation when increasing the engine’s output. Additionally, because hydraulic lifters cannot have a high overall height, they cannot be used with high-lift cams that have a smaller base circle on the camshaft. As a result, the tuning range and performance are limited by the hydraulic valve lifters.
Therefore, TOMEI’s valve lifters are specially designed for high-lift camshafts, supporting valve lifts up to 10.35mm.
