Two-route oil supply from two journals secures crankpin an enough amount of oil supply. Moreover, X shape oil passage enables supplying oil using the centrifugal force of a crankshaft; reliability of the oil supply at high RPM is improved. Furthermore, and resistance of oil flow is reduced by giving a modification on oil hole exit.

Counter weight has its original shape that is designed with theoretical analysis, to secure the proper rate of balance (rate which negates the inertia power of a reciprocating movement) while reducing its weight.

Edge shape designed with hydrodynamics

At high RPM, counterweight rotates at more than 200km/h inside the crankcase through the oil and air. We designed the edge shape of the counterweight hydro-dynamically sharp so that less resistance will occur even at high rotation. (Applied other than CA)

Forged SCM435 metal
We selected chrome moly steel as a material (STD: regular steel) and forge it in the mold to improve the organization of crystal. As a result, metal flow is formed along with the shape of crankshaft that gives 2times more strength to the metal than before.

WPC finish to the pulley journal
WPC finish2 prevents pulley and pulley holder to be worn and keeps good maintenance of the engine. (Applied to RB engines)

Despite we are applying worlds highest level of designing ideas such as sharp edged counterweight or crossing 2way crank lubrication, we succeeded in controlling every optimized process of our production perfectly, and secured stable supply of the highest quality of products. From the selection of the material, heat treatment, and to the polishing process are perfectly managed, and at the final checking process, 20items of the checking list are given to the 120 part of the single crankshaft in the room fixed its temperature at just 20C. Worlds greatest performance as 2.6liter inline 6 engine, 10000rpm / 1100PS is only achieved by our thorough quality management that would be match for the worlds top class racing camshaft.

1 If the radius of crank counter weight is 65mm, its circumference is 408mm = 0.4meter. When the engine is running at 8500RPM, crank rotates 141.7 turns per second which is translated in 56.7m/s = 204.1km/h of peripheral speed.
2 WPC finish is shooting micro ceramic spheres (45mm diameter) to the surface of the metal at 200m/s of speed.
