The T-TRAX ADVANCE
gis the most effective LSD unit availableh & has the best overall
advantage in comparison with the other aftermarket products available
today. Amazing penetrating angles at the time of Drift, with such
persistence in the accuracy of line taking and all aspects of cornering,
the T-TRAX ADVANCE shows amazing efficiency with the aggressive
cam angles which is optimum for drifting the friction clutch discs
also has a larger surface area, furthermore with the use of the
coil spring discs and the high setting of initial torque which is
raised higher than any other brands in the market today.
In order the high response which reacts to accelerator
work instantaneously to guarantee quality, cam angle of the pressure
ring was optimized, lock quality of the ideal in the drift and the
circuit was guaranteed.
WAY (T-TRAX ADVANCE)
Way LSD locks very well with being ON or OFF the
throttle. So we at TOMEI. had chosen our LSD design
and product range to suit FR (RWD) sports cars
to help revive the real sports feeling in these
cars so that drivers can drive their cars the
way they were mean to be driven.
Has the same locking strength
either on or off the throttle.
Since the LSD will lock while backing off the
throttle this design will help with sliding the
tail out under more controlled conditions.
Strong locking power under acceleration
but weak locking power when decelerating.
Weak locking power when you back
off the throttle.
Since this type is weaker under deceleration,
steering is affected and makes it harder to control
compared to 2 way types.
More quieter and improved transmission
efficiency with Tomeis " ADVANCE DISC". The friction quality
changed with the new surface finish. Smoother operations and more
stable behavioral changes with either being ON or OFF the throttle.
There is no loud LSD crackling sounds and therfore making it more
comfortable for the daily street driven car.
The bulk clutch
which makes the torque of the engine transmit efficiently is the
main benefit for the LSD role in order to correspond with engine
tuning. The T-TRAX ADVANCE Nissan 350Z (Z33) models friction clutch
areas 127cm2 per disc, the effective friction area is 1274cm2 (
63.7~10 surface area ~2), clearly unmatched by any other maker.

Reaching the maximum limit possible,
we have found the highest performance possible which exceeds any
expectations. With both each left and right containing 12 discs
and a total of 24 discs (the standard diff has a total 12 discs
only) the transfer of torque is equally stable to both sides. During
drift the results show with unsurpassed control characteristics
due to the high locking ratio.
In order in increase the amount
of friction discs possible, the T-Trax models adopted the use of
the coil spring disc. This helped with the more compact design and
increasing the overall initial torque possible in mechanical LSD.
In addition this unique design spring disc shows with continuous
severe driving conditions, this has outlasted any previous designs
with T-Trax unsurpassed durability.
Previously all car models required
the exchange of both the side flanges when upgrading the LSD unit.
But with T-TRAX ADVANCE it is now possible to use the original factory
side flange. Of course there is no decrease in quality, efficiency
or performance but it helps with bring down the costs of upgrading
your diff. (with the exception of some models the side flanges still
have to be exchanged on certain models). Our aim was to increase
performance while trying to give the end user best value for money.
By increasing both
the quantity of friction discs used and the higher initial torque
loads can cause higher stress loads on the diff casing which can
increase the chance of failure. But with the T-TRAX ADVANCE and
a completely new diff casing design there is now ample room for
housing all the discs without compromising this diff case housing
strength. Our diff case design has never deformed nor failed under
the vigorous testing that we have placed it under.
ADVANCE kit comes with everything required for each application.
T-TRAX special diff oil, carrier cover gaskets, bearings and oil
seals are included which are required when upgrading the diff for
the majority of the Nissan line-up.
